Norwich Youth Wrestling Shine In Recent Competition

CHENANGO COUNTY – Norwich youth wrestling has had a busy couple of weeks. On January 26, we hosted our Norwich Youth Wrestling tournament. Norwich had 50 Wrestlers competing with 300 kids from 33 different schools from all over the state! Our wrestlers worked hard with most of the wrestlers placing in the top three.
Last Sunday, we took 26 kids to the Greene tournament where we had nine first place finishes, eight second place finishes, seven third place finishes and three fourth place finishes. Norwich brought home the first place team trophy! We are so proud of all of the wrestlers for their continued dedication to wrestling. We would also like to thank the Youth Bureau for their support.
