WINDSOR – Coming off a close win over Union-Endicott on Monday, the Norwich girls basketball team traveled to Windsor for a STAC matchup on Wednesday, where the Purple Tornado came away with the 59-49 victory. Norwich also swept the series with Windsor after defeating them 65-36 at home in early January.

Both teams played steadily with the Purple Tornado keeping their momentum throughout the contest to win their third straight game.

Josey Ryan led Norwich with 19 points with three threes as Emma Urgo finished with 18 points, going six-for-10 on the free throw line. Urgo also had eight of the team’s 17 points in the third quarter.
