NEW BERLIN - The Unatego-UV-Franklin Spartans wrestling team had the honor of hosting the Section IV, Division II "B" qualifiers at Unadilla Valley High School on Saturday. After reaching the state dual meet semi-finals, the Spartans finished second at sectional qualifiers behind Deposit-Hancock.

UV also honored its lone represented senior Wyatt Meade before the festivities.

Meade has had a phenomenal senior season, which includes the recent first place finish at sectional qualifiers to advance to the Section IV tournament next weekend. Nolan Boyles and Yanni Drapaniotis will also be joining Meade after winning their respective weight classes.

Abdeen Zaggout and Abdul-Jamil Zaggout both finished second as Ahmet Zaggout and Zack Sousa took third.
