NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ basketball team hosted Sus Valley for their final home and regular season game of the 2024-25 season. It was also senior night for the boys as well as for the Norwich Purple Tornado cheerleaders.

Congratulations to Janiah Miller, Maya Adoff, Romina Borrazo, Chase Colley, Zak Myers, Mitchell Collins, Graham Burton, and Steven Dowdall.

Norwich defeated Sus Valley 63-34 to pick up their 14th win of the season. All hands were on deck for this game as the Purple Tornado had everyone helping out either offensively or defensively or both. It was just a great finish to the regular season, which was exciting for everyone in attendance.

All the seniors started and were brought in one final time in the fourth quarter. Coach Joe Alger used only one timeout throughout the game, leaving five left in the final two minutes to represent the five seniors. He put all the seniors in one final time before calling a timeout for each to substitute.

Norwich’s Steven Dowdall led the team with 15 points with two threes and scored seven points in the second quarter.
