BAINBRIDGE - Don’t miss bluegrass crowd-pleaser Remington Ryde when they perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feburary 22 at the Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre, 15 North Main Street.

The band, formed in 2005, has become known for Ryan Frankhouser’s songwriting and the band’s unique and dynamic renditions of some of your old favorite tunes. They have a distinct sound and old-time flair forged in the Bluegrass-rich area of Pennsylvania from which they hail and borrow their name.

Remington Ryde is firmly rooted in the traditions of the early decades of Bluegrass and Country music. The band can be counted on for their powerful musicianship, entertainment, combined with Frankhouser’s smooth lead vocals, which sounds just as much at home with driving bluegrass tune as it does a tear-filled country weeper. The members of Remington Ryde have come together to create a recipe of entertainment with a tight, cohesive sound that you are sure to love.

In addition, there’s always a special treat when you come to musical events at the Town Hall Theatre. Before the show, enjoy music played on the theatre’s residence organ built in 1933 and one of only five Æolian/Skinner residence organs ever built for upstate New York, and the only one known to be intact and in playable condition.

Popcorn, popped with real butter in their vintage 1940’s popcorn machine, is available, as well as home baked goods, freshly brewed coffee, soda and bottled water.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and all performances are open seating. Tickets are available at the door or you may reserve a ticket ahead by calling 607-288-3882.
