SYRACUSE – On Sunday, Sherburne-Earlville’s Pasley French and Gabbi Naylor represented Sherburne-Earlville in the Section III girls wrestling state qualifiers held at the SRC Arena at OCC.

French took sixth in the 94 pound weight class and went 0-3.

Naylor took fifth in the 126 pound weight class. She won her first match with a 1:55 pin against Indian River’s Peyton Toutant. She fell in the next by a tech fall but came back and won her next match by tech fall and then pinned Brianna Nguyen from Phoenix in 3:46. Naylor then fell by tech fall but defeated Holland Patent’s Macy Doxstader in a 3:16 pin in the fifth place match.
