NORWICH — The Chenango Arts Council spring performance season has something for everyone, from ballet to theater, as well as a new addition celebrating the Fender Stratocaster.

The Norwich Theater Company will be bringing their production of "Terms of Endearment" to the Martin W. Kappel Theater at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 30.

The show is a comedy-drama based on the 1983 film of the same name starring Jack Nicholson and Shirley McLean. It follows the story of widow Aurora Greenway, who juggles her challenges with a new romantic interest while trying to help her daughter struggling with a philandering husband.

Due to mature themes and adult language, parental discretion is advised for audience members under the age of 14.

Tickets for "Terms of Endearment" are on sale now at the Chenango Arts Council, C.S. Miller Books, Service Pharmacy in Norwich, and by calling 607-244-3852.

Next up in the season is a performance by the New York Theater Ballet: The Royal Collection at 7 p.m. on April 12 in the Martin W. Kappel Theater.

Story Continues Below Adverts

"They work with choreographers and composers that are both newer and more legendary, and they perform small classic masterpieces and new contemporary works," said Chenango Arts Council Administrative Assistant Mary Beth Miller. "This particular performance is going to be based on some famous ballets like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty. So it's definitely welcoming for all ages."
