SOUTHERN CAYUGA – After a strong finish to the 2024-25 regular season, finishing fifth in the MAC behind tough opponents, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ basketball team earned the ninth seed in the Section IV, Class C tournament. However, it wasn’t high enough to host the first game, so they traveled to the eighth seeded Southern Cayuga. B-G had faced the Chiefs in the previous year, where they won 48-33 to advance to the next round.

B-G battled but came up short this time in a 58-45 deficit. B-G once had a 13-point lead but could not hold on. B-G finishes the 2024-25 season with a 14-7 record.

The Lady Bobcats held their opponent to a single field goal in the first eight minutes and were evenly matched in the second quarter. B-G had the 13-point advantage at halftime before the tables turned in the second half.
