NEW BERLIN - The New Berlin Library is hosting their annual Egg Hunt and Party on Saturday, April 19th at 2 pm. Children and their families are invited to join us at the library for this free event. Registration is required for this event. Call, message, or stop into the library to register. The child’s name, age, and a contact number required to register.
At this year’s Egg Hunt and Party children will be given colorful totes, bunny ears, and printed instructions prior for the egg hunt. The instructions will outline how many eggs and other items each child will be allowed to find as well as listing the other party activities. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be a balloon twister creating balloon animals, flowers and swords. There will be games, prizes, snacks, and a craft activity. The Easter Bunny will also attend the party. There will be photo opportunities with the bunny and free photo prints.
There is a jellybean guessing contest in the circulation room. The public is invited to guess how many jellybeans are in a jar. The person who guesses the closest wins the jar of jellybeans and a goodie filled basket. The winner will be announced on April 18. All items in this contest were donated to the New Berlin Library. This contest is free and open to the public.
The New Berlin Library is holding two spring art programs. The first program will be a children’s art class held on Monday, March 24 at 5pm. The children will be making 3-D bunny portraits. The second spring art program will be an adult art class held on Monday, April 7 at 5pm. The adults will be making yarn wrapped cherry blossom Easter eggs. Registration is required.
New Berlin Library Board will be meeting on March 26 at 6pm. These meetings are open to the public. Minutes are posted on the New Berlin Library website.
