Prentice and Rose compete at NYSPHSAA Bowling championships 1) Jacob Prentice at the NYSPHSAA Bowling Championship alongside his parents, Josh and Audra. Prentice led all of division I and division II and finished first out of 125 bowlers with the highest series of a 1477 through six games. The Section IV boys’ team finished third in division II. SYRACUSE – Unadilla Valley seniors Jacob Prentice and Shelby Rose, as well as coaches, family, and friends, traveled to AMF Strike N Spare lanes in Syracuse over the weekend for the 2025 NYSPHSAA bowling championships.

Prentice, who qualified as the third bowler on the Section IV team, finished number one overall out of 125 bowlers at the boys’ championship. He had the highest series out of both division I and division II with a total score of a 1477 in six games bowled with a 246 average.
