SIDNEY - The Sidney Memorial Public Library is proud to announce a special presentation by The Tri-Cities Opera. On Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. the Tri-Cities Opera will present The Ugly Duckling Children’s Opera.

The 35-minute performance will be followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session with the Opera Go-Round Team. No registration is required. This performance is suitable for ages 4 to 12, but we think kids of all ages would enjoy this program.

The Sidney Memorial Public Library would like to thank TCO for this free performance.

Another great program will be held on Saturday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society will present the Bird-Friendly Window Workshop. This workshop will help participants make Acopian BirdSavers, window treatments to reduce bird-window collisions for up to three windows in their homes.

This program will be held in the Smart Community room. Registration is required. Please register at doas.us .

The Friends of the Library will present the movie “Wicked” with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo on Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. Enjoy this newly released musical adventure on the big screen in the Smart Community Room. This movie is rated PG and the running time is 2 hr 40 mins.
