NORWICH – On March 8 and 9, the dedication and hard work of local youth wrestlers paid off as 13 athletes from Norwich Youth Wrestling team earned spots at the NYWAY State Tournament. Competing against top young wrestlers from across the state, four of these talented athletes returned home as state place finishers, marking an impressive achievement for the team: Brielle Miller in fifth place, Lucas Button in second place, Connor Alger in third place, and Dawson Flick taking second.

The NYWAY State Tournament is a milestone in the wrestling calendar, and the Norwich Youth Wrestling team is excited to build on this success as they look ahead to the next season.
