NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ basketball team celebrated its 2024-25 season on Monday night at the Canasawacta Country Club. The team met one last time with its three seniors: Emma Koerts, Talia Bookamer, and Cally Richardson and thanked them for their dedication to the Norwich girls’ basketball program.

The Norwich girls’ basketball program also celebrated its JV and modified teams as well and honored its whole Varsity team with athletic achievement awards.

The Varsity girls awarded its players with prestigious awards to reflect on hard work this season, where Alivia Burrell received Most improved, Emma Urgo was awarded Defensive player of the year, Josey Ryan earned Offensive player of the year, Kerragan Reid received the Coaches’ Award and MVP went to Brynley Ryan.
