NORWICH – On Wednesday evening, the Norwich Purple Tornado Wrestling program celebrated the 2024-25 season with a banquet at the NHS Cafeteria.

The team celebrated a memorable season, where sophomore Maverick Beckwith won his second consecutive states title and was named Section IV, Division II wrestler of the year, and enjoyed its final moments with seniors: Evan Heath, Briley Beckwith, Cyrus Graham, and Jack Barnes.

The Norwich Wrestling Program also gave out the following awards: Ryan Evans received the Coach K award, Kolby Vielandi earned Most improved while Jack Barnes was named MVP. Most Outstanding Wrestler went to Maverick Beckwith and the Lady Captain award went to Briley Beckwith.
