NORWICH — Join Instructor Martha Ryan for a Latin dancing experience at Dancing for Wellness on Wednesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. in the Guernsey Memorial Library Meeting Room, located at 3 Court Street in Norwich.

The classes are free and open to adults of all ages, with no pre-registration required. Individuals can simply show up ready to dance in comfortable clothes, and closed-toed shoes or slippers; no sneakers or sandals are allowed.

"My number one requirement is that people need to wear the right kind of shoes, which means they have to wear closed shoes. So they can’t come with sandals, and most of the time I don’t even want sneakers. If they come with wet sneakers from the street, they can fall down or they can hurt themselves," Ryan explained. "So that’s the only thing we require is that they wear either ballet slippers or dance shoes."

"They can come very comfortable like they would go to a gym. Very casual. And they should bring a bottle of water with them," she added.
