BAINBRIDGE– On a wet Thursday afternoon, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team hosted the Oxford Blackhawks for a local MAC league matchup. B-G, who suffered a heart-breaking loss to Delhi in their first game of the season, came away with a big 15-1 win through five innings.
B-G’s Alessandra Cafasso tossed a no-hitter through five, only allowing one earned run to score on a passed ball in the top of the fifth inning. She walked five batters and had eight strikeouts.
Cafasso also helped out at the plate with two hits, including a double, and three RBIs. Danica Park drove in three runs as well.
