B-G, UV, And Oxford-Greene Track Attend Sidney’s MAC League Meet

SIDNEY – Sidney hosted a local MAC league outdoor track and field meet, featuring Bainbridge-Guilford, UV/GMU, and Oxford-Greene. B-G boys and girls won the meet as Sidney came in second, UV girls in third and the boys in fourth. Oxford-Greene boys took third and the girls finished fourth.

Some of the B-G boys and girls also attended Johnson City’s Square Deal Invite on Sunday.

Girls:

The Lady Bobcats had two teams compete in the 4x800 meter relay with Lalalenia Baldwin, Vanessa Brazee, Maddie Ingham, and Laila Williams taking second, behind UV with a time of 10:56.64.

Chandler Benjamin, Ashley Nabinger, Clare Sullivan, and Ruth Wilson made up the second team, which finished fourth with a time of 14:18.13.

Brooklinn Hall, Carleigh Judd, Ashley Nabinger, and Chandler Benjamin finished third in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:53.13.

Elanor Sprow, Makayla McCloud, Keelan Ammon, and Kayla Patton ran for a third place finish in the girls’ 4x100 meter relay with a time of 56.88 seconds.

B-G’s Emily Sprow took the top finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a new personal best time of 17.61 seconds as teammate Allison Vermilyea finished seventh with her new best 21.82 seconds. Roxanne Megale finished eighth with a new best 22.37 seconds.
