JOHNSON CITY – The Bainbridge-Guilford track and field team attended the Square Deal Invite at Johnson City on Sunday, after rain kept pushing the meet back.
Oneonta girls and Ithaca boys won the overall meet. B-G girls tied for fourth place with Waverly as the boys finished ninth.

Girls:
Emily Sprow finished third in the Girls outdoor pentathlon, where she competed in the 100m hurdles, the high jump, the shot put, the long jump, and the 800m. She finished second in the hurdles with a time of 18.30 seconds. She jumped to a third place finish with jump of 1.31m in the high jump.
For the shot put, she threw for 6.62 m for second place. She finished first in the long jump with a jump of 4.82m. Lastly, she took sixth in the 800m with a time of 3:37.83.
A team of Lalaenia Baldwin, Maddie Ingham, Laila Williams, and Jalyn Winans took second behind Waverly (10:46.60) with a time of 11:11.70 in the 4x800 meter relay.
Baldwin also competed in the 2000 meter steeplechase, finishing sixth with a time of 9:29.50 as Winans ran the 1500 meter run in 6:09 for a 13th place finish.
Laila Williams came away with the top finish in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:17.06. Ingham earned second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:33.75, behind Binghamton’s 2:31.59.
