OXFORD — The Oxford Memorial Library, located at 8 Fort Hill Park in Oxford, will be celebrating Earth Day with an Earth Day Art Show from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30.
"The Earth Day art show is open for anybody to apply or enter a piece of artwork made out of recycled materials," said Oxford Memorial Library Director Gillian Mulder.
Age groups are Kids from ages 0 to 11, Youth from ages 12 to 17, and Adults aged 18 and over.
Artwork is limited to one entry per person, must be made out of at least 50 percent recycled materials, and pieces can be two- or three-dimensional. 2D works must be no larger than 24 by 36 inches, and 3D pieces must have a footprint of 18 by 18 inches or smaller.
Pieces can be dropped off at the Oxford Memorial Library beginning Wednesday, April 23 until Wednesday, April 30 at noon, during the library's operating hours of 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, and 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
