EARLVILLE – Colleen S. Presnell, 59, of Fletcher Road, passed away Friday, Jan.18, 2008 at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1948 in Greene, a daughter of Gerald and Charlotte Sampson Button, and was a graduate of South New Berlin High School. On Jan. 31, 1971, Colleen married James H. Presnell in Norwich. Most recently, she had assisted her husband in the operation of his business, J & C Manufactured House Movers. She had previously worked at New York Central Mutual Insurance Co. in Sherburne. Colleen was a loving and supportive wife and mother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband, Jim; a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Diane Button of South Plymouth; a sister, Rose Palmer of Port Crane; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Mary Button, James and Beverly Button, David and Rose Button, all of South Plymouth; several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. A brother, Richard Button, and a sister, Eileen Slater predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
