NORWICH – Martin Anthony Green passed away on Jan. 13, 2008 at Veterans’ Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas after a long illness.
He was born in Oxford on May 12, 1952. He lived in Norwich most of his young life. Martin graduated from the Norwich High School. He entered the Navy and served aboard a submarine. After discharge, Martin settled in Houston, Texas.
Martin is survived by his children, Chehonee Cooley, Dickinson, Texas and Dewitt Green of Houston, Texas; his sisters, Gary Ann Manwarren of Norwich and Shayne Coleman of Witcha Falls, Texas; grandchildren Xavier, Maverick and Johnny Cooley of Dickinson, Texas; also, nieces and nephews, Tracy and Darla Buckles, Spring, Texas, Shannon and Michael Monroe, Concord, N.C., Randy and Cindy Manwarren, So. Plymouth and Joseph and Ruth Manwarren, Norwich.
He was predeceased by his mother, Veronica Green.
Martin will be buried at the Veteran’s Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
