NORWICH – Roland J. Kreppel, 79, of 255 Rosewood Circle, Canastota, died Sunday evening, March 9, 2008
Roland was an assistant machine operator with Procter & Gamble in Norwich for 11 years, retiring on April 1, 1993. He had previously been employed with Borden Chemical in Bainbridge, and had also been a self employed dairy farmer in Coventryville for many years.
Surviving is his wife Floretta, two daughters and one son-in-law: Margaret “Peg” and Gary Pantzer of Oneida and Debra Yelenak of Malta, four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren He was predeceased by a sister, Blanche Kreppel, on April 16, 1999 and one brother, Edwin Kreppel, on April 3, 2007.
Graveside Services will be held in the spring at a time to be announced in the Glenwood Cemetery Afton.
There will be no local services or calling hours.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc. 342 Main Street Oneida.
