SOUTH NEW BERLIN – Stephen K. Simpson, 50, formerly of South New Berlin and Owego, passed away on July 26, 2006 in the Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Stephen was born Dec.15, 1955 in Rochester, a son of Rev. Kenneth and Nina Simpson of Norwich.
Beside his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Christina and Stephanie Simpson of McLean, Va.; maternal grandmother, Portia Dalton of South New Berlin; his sisters, Shelley Green & her husband, Arthur, and Robyn & her husband, Robert George of Salamanca, Sherlyn Pallassino & her husband, Gary, of Cortland; a brother, Christopher & his wife, Jennifer Simpson of Owego along with nieces and nephews, Michael, Alexandria and Rachel Pallassino and Katelyn, Brian and Dylan Simpson.
Stephen was a 1974 graduate of the Owego Free Academy, Owego. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and his law degree from George Washington Law School.
Funeral services were held in the Vienna Presbyterian Church on July 29 in Vienna, Va.
