NORWICH – David A. Urban, 46, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, April 10, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Dave was born in January of 1962 in Pittsburgh, Pa. the son of Edward and Mercedes Ponzetto Urban. He was a 1980 graduate of the Norwich High School and attended automotive technical school in Denver, Colo. In earlier years he had worked on the Knudson farm and more recently was employed by NAPA in Norwich and as a driller for the Raymond Corporation.
Dave was a drag racing enthusiast and enjoyed tractor pulls and his music.
Dave is survived by his companion of 20 years, Sandra Kilmer of Norwich, his father Edward Urban of Monroeville, Pa., his sister and her husband, Judy and Nick Faraklas of Downingtown, Pa. and his niece Angela Faraklas.
Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 16, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services for Dave will be private and at the convenience of the family.
