NORWICH – Margaret Ann Todd, 89, of Norwich, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Thursday April 17, 2008 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich.
She was born in Hazelton, Pa. on July 14, 1918. She was the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Shagan) Elick. She was a graduate of the Temple University School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pa. and worked as a Registered Nurse.
On Sept. 28, 1940, she married Quintin C. Todd, who predeceased her in 2002. Margaret and her husband moved to Norwich in 1998 and enjoyed it as their home.
A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed her family and friends and had a life-long interest in medicine.
She is survived by two sons, Quintin R. Todd and his wife, Kathleen, of Paoli, Pa. and Dr. Jeffrey A. Todd and his wife, Dr. Patricia Warski, of Norwich; four grandchildren, Julia and Quintin M. Todd of Paoli, Pa. and Stephanie and Gregory Todd, of Norwich. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Todd will be private. Burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
