NORWICH – Anna May Hoag, 84, of Norwich, formerly of New Berlin, went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2008 in Syracuse.
She was bor July 5, 1923 in Norwich, the daughter of Dominic & Iva L (Standish) Scecchitano.
She spent her childhood in the Norwich area where she attended the local school. She was employed as a private nurses aid and was a home maker.
Anna loved her grandchildren and enjoyed driving her car very much.
Anna’s former husbands were: Raymond Monroe, Robert Hoag and Ivan Lobdell.
Anna is survived by three sons: Mark Hoag of South New Berlin, Robert Hoag Jr. of New Berlin, and David Monroe of South Otselic; one stepdaughter, Sandy Lobdell; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Scanlan of Norwich.
She was predeceased by one brother, Dominic Scecchintano Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dakin Funeral Home LP of New Berlin with Father Francis Case officiating.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin.
Viewing will be from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
