NORWICH – Patricia B. Lord, of Binghamton, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Sylvia Burr; and brother, Eric, who were all of Norwich.
She is survived by her loving children: Jim and Gloria McGarity, Avon; Sylvia and Joe Walker, Sandy Creek; Christopher Lord, Greene; Aubrey Lord, Port Crane; grandchildren, Jessica and Rebecca McGarity, Hannah Walker and Marissa Lord; niece, Barbara Burr; cousin, Lisa and Ken Clark; and faithful and loving feline companion, Norman.
Patricia worked with the Press & Sun-Bulletin, and was an avid knitter and reader who loved spending time at her cottage on Chenango Lake. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, with Pastor Ken Wood officiating.
