RUTH GOLDSBOROUGH
NORWICH – Ruth Ann Craine Goldsborough died peacefully in Niceville, Fla. on June 3, 2008 surrounded by many of her children.
She was born Jan. 21, 1924, daughter of Zur William and Ruth Brush Craine of Norwich. She attended Cornell University and graduated form Parsons School of Design with a BA in Art. On June 4, 1947 she married George J. Goldsborough, Jr. and began raising her family in Bethesda, Md., moving to Easton in 1963. 
She took pride  in and devoted a great deal of her energy to her seven children.  She was an avid gardener and a talented cook.  Some of her greatest joy came from welcoming family and friends to “North Bend” in Easton and the family cottage, “Azoo” on the Outer Banks of North Caroilina.   
She is survived by her seven children; Barbara, Cindy, Billy, Judy, Lulu, Ann, and Nancy, and by her sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. 
A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Oxford, Md. at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
