OTSELIC – Norman G. Kennedy, 84, of Lakeland, Fla., passed away July 28, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
He was born in 1924 in Cortland to Nelson and Glycera (Truman) Kennedy.  He was a 1942 graduate of Georgetown High School.  A farmer for over 40 years in Otselic, he moved to Davenport, Fla.L in 1980 and was employed as maintenance engineer  at Greenleaf Resort and later as a maintenance supervisor at Park View Village.  He was a member of the Family Worship Center and the Moose Lodge.
He was predeceased by his wife Ginger and son John.  Survivors include his companion, Aurore Sigler of Lakeland; a brother Stanley Kennedy of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., his sons Jim and Jerry Kennedy, both of Davenport,  Jeff Kennedy of Otselic, and daughter Jo Forsythe of Frostproof, Fla., 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held at Foxwood Estates Clubhouse in Lakeland, Sunday, Aug. 3, with final resting place in Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
