NORWICH – Deanna M. Lints, 36, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 30, 2008, in Longmont, Colo., where she had made her home for the past two months.
Born in Catskill in March of 1972, the daughter of Ronald and Geraldine (Pearsall) Lints, Deanna was a 1992 graduate of the Norwich High School and had lived in the Norwich and surrounding areas for most of her life. A person who loved to help others, she spent most of her adult years caring for the elderly as a personal nurse’s aide.
In the spring of 1995, Deanna married Richard Gaffney, and together they had two wonderful children. Richard predeceased Deanna in 2005.
Deanna is survived by her daughter and son, Nicole and Richard Gaffney, both of Oneonta; her grandson, Brandon Gaffney of Oneonta; by her mother, Geraldine Lints of Norwich; her brothers, Ronald Lints of Norwich and Jeffrey Lints of Longmont, Colo.; and by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Deanna was predeceased by her father, Ronald, in 1992.
Funeral services for Deanna will be private and at her family’s convenience. The Rev. Dennis McKenna, Pastor of the Assembly of God Church, will officiate.
