NORWICH – Frank Whitehill Sr., 57, of Bostwick, Fla., passed away Friday, July 28, 2006.
Born April 22, 1949 in Sidney, Frank lived most of his life in the Norwich area. He retired to Florida in 2004. Frank was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Frank is survived by his wife Maxine Bocyck Whitehill of Bostwick, Fla.; a son Frank Whitehill Jr. of Utica; a stepdaughter Jennifer Fillio of Bostwick, Fla.; a grandson Dawson Whitehill of Sherburne; a grandson Derek Root of Bostwick, Fla.; a granddaughter Stephanie Fillio of Bostwick, Fla.; and his faithfull yellow lab Molly.
Frank is also survived by four brothers: Larry, Arnold (Ponch), Sheldon and Hank. all from the Norwich area; and three sisters: Antonia (Toni) Gascon, Stella Ryan and Lona (Duffy) Hartwell, all from the Norwich area; and his best friends Mike and Karen Symons of Columbus. Frank is also survived by several in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home of Palatka, Fla. A memorial service for Frank will be held in Unadilla at a later date.
