SMYRNA – Lisa H. Spaulding, 36, formerly of Smyrna and most recently of Binghamton, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 24, 2008 in the Wilson Hospital of Johnson City.
Lisa was born in November of 1971 in Norwich, the daughter of Thomas and Elinor Titus Spaulding. She grew up and made her home in Smyrna and since 1991 has made her home in the Binghamton area. Even though Lisa was challenged throughout her life, she always had a smile and was a very happy and content individual. With her communication, limited you could always tell “where she was parked” through her eyes and smile. Throughout her life, Lisa was a great lover of music.
Lisa is survived b y her mother Elinor Spaulding of Lodi, her aunts and uncles, Jeanne and Bill Joslyn Sr., of Mt. Upton, Karel Titus and Anne Derousie of Lodi. Art and Virginia Titus Sr., Graydon “Stub” Titus, Yvonne Titus, Carol Titus all of Norwich and close friend Lynn Carr of Newfield. Many cousins also survive.
She was predeceased by her father Thomas Spaulding, her Aunt Ruth Titus, Uncle Ken Titus, Aunt and Uncle Hanna and Dick Goodman and Uncle Bill Titus.
Funeral services for Lisa will be held at noon on Monday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
