After completing her schooling, Lauretta traveled to New York City to pursue a career in dancing. She began performing as one of the world famous "Rockettes" at Radio City Music Hall.
On Oct. 27, 1937, she married George J. Revoir, of Syracuse. In the early 1950s, upon purchasing the Hotel Norwich, Lauretta, George and their two children, Robert and Frank (Ted), left Syracuse and relocated to Norwich. The couple continued to own and operate the Hotel Norwich, until George’s untimely death in 1961.
In 1966, Lauretta left Norwich and returned to her native Syracuse, where she ultimately met her long time loving companion and best friend of forty years, Edward Rogala, who survives. Lauretta is also survived by two sons and their wives, Frank B. and Katherine Revoir, of Norwich; and Robert G. and Nigel Revoir, of Arizona City, Arizona; five grandsons, Frank Jr., Thomas and Ryan Revoir, all of Norwich; Gary Revoir, of Aurora, Illinois; and Christopher Revoir, of Mesa, Arizona; five great grandchildren, Noah, Rife, Riley and Nate Revoir, all of Norwich and Alexis Revoir, of Mesa, Arizona; a niece, Joan M.
