KINGSTON – Ruth Ann “Scooter” MacDonald of Park Street Kingston, died at The Kingston Hospital Thursday, March 5, 2009.
Born in Norwich on September 4, 1952, she was a daughter of David V. Aldrich of Crestview, Fla., and the late Beth Burdick Aldrich.
A graduate of Ulster County Community College, she was employed as an analyst for United Health Care.
Ruth was an active member of Saint Johns Episcopal Church, serving on the 175th anniversary commitee, and as a chalice bearer.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas MacDonald; one son: Jason MacDonald of Crestview, Fla.; a brother, Donald Aldrich of Indian River Shores, Fla.; four grandchildren: Adam Barnhill of Jacksonville, Fla., Katie Barnhill, Zane Barnhill and Connor MacDonald of Baker, Fla. She was precdeceased by a brother, David Aldrich Jr., and a sister, Mary Kay Aldrich.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 7 at Saint Johns Episcopal Church. Rev. Duncan Burns officiated.
