SHERBURNE – Shirley Allison Price went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, March 20, 2009 in Oneonta, while surrounded by her family.
Shirley was born on May 9, 1925 in Waterbury, Conn., to Lillian and Charles Allison. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Charles Price, a brother, Louis Allison, a son-in-law, Howard Fox, and daughter-in-law, Joyce Price.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family; daughter, Gloria and Gail DeLee of Otselic; son, Stephen Price of Sherburne; and daughter Sally and Roy Straka of Sidney; her seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be in the Sherburne Quarter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a Hospice organization of one’s choice.
