BRISBEN – Evelyn M. Neubauer, 88, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2009, at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; daughter, Susan; sister, Dorothy Bilby; son-in-law, David Muzzy; grandsons, Michael Mele and Jeff Lee; great-granddaughter, Madelyn. Evelyn is survived by her children, Lillian and Leonard Quinn, Oxford, Lois Muzzy, Carlisle, PA, Evelyn (Anne) and James Moore, Lisle, Douglas and Rita Neubauer, Jacksonville, FL, Donald and Viola Neubauer, Sherburne, David and Tena Neubauer, Norwich; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Gray, Norwich; several nieces and nephews.
After raising her children, Evelyn enjoyed working at the Greene High School cafeteria. She was a member of First Congregational Church, U.C.C. Greene. Evelyn enjoyed spending time at Brightman Senior Center and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m.,Tuesday at Root Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Whitman, Pastor of her church, officiating.
Burial will be in Warn-Tenbroeck Cemetery, Brisben.
Friends of the family may call Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St., Greene.
