NORWICH – Bryan D. Adams, 55, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2009.
Born in Hackensack, N.J. in January of 1954, Bryan was the son of Merle and Charlotte Miller Adams. After graduating from Chateaugay High School, he continued his education at SUNY Potsdam and Canton ATC, earning an associates degree. On Sept. 15, 1978, in Ellenburg Depot, Bryan married Bonnie Avery. He and his family moved to Norwich from Chateaugay in 1980 when Bryan accepted a job with Victory Markets. When Victory closed its doors in 1992, Bryan began his own consulting company which he was still operating at the time of his passing. He was known to be a very generous person who was always willing to help the less fortunate.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Bonnie Adams of Norwich; his children and their spouses; Mark and Tara Willis of Norwich and Kim and Stacy Santoro of Fly Creek; and his grandchildren: Tyler Cooper, Janie, Emily, and Nicholas Santoro, and Ethan Willis. He is also survived by his sisters and their husbands: Carol and John Neubauer of Villas, N.J., and Marsha and Robert Carrizzo of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; his sister-in-law, Judy Adams of Neosho, Missouri; five nieces and two nephews. Bryan was predeceased by his parents, Merle and Charlotte, and his brother, David Adams.
Funeral services for Bryan will be private and held at the convenience of his family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home of Norwich.
