NEW BERLIN – Andrea L. Fliedner, 55, of New Berlin, passed away on Sept. 20, 2006 at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
Andrea was born in East Orange, N.J. on July 29, 1951, a daughter of Stanley & Ann (Maffei) Kluczek. Her childhood was spent in the Newark, N.J. area attending local schools and Shelton College. On May 13, 1972, she married William Fliedner in New York City.
Andrea was employed by New York Central Mutual Insurance Company, Edmeston, in the accounting department. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Norwich. She was very musical and loved to play the organ and piano especially for church events in the service of God.
She is survived by her husband, William; one son, William Fliedner III and wife April of Endicott; her mother and step father, Stanley & Ann Krause; one brother, Stanley Kluczek III of Cliffwood Branch, N.J. and one sister & brother-in-law, Reverand Paul and Nancy Zeron of Bayonne, N.J.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church, 23 Birdsall St., Norwich, with the Pastor Ralph Hinman, Bible Baptist Church and Reverand Paul Zeron officiating. Calling hours will be on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church, Norwich. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin.
