Victor Pier Jr.
MORRISONVILLE – Victor W. Pier Jr., 20, of Morrisonville, formerly of Oxford, passed away in the early hours on Saturday, May 16, 2009, as a result of a motor vehicle. Victor was born on July 1, 1988 in Paterson, N.J.
Survivors include his wife, Nichole (Trombley) Pier, and his stepdaughter Kierra Devins of Morrisonville; his father, Victor W. Pier Sr., and stepmother, Jennifer Pier, both of Oxford; his sisters, Adriana of New Jersey and April of Oxford; his brothers, Jason “Jay” and Anthony, both of Oxford; niece, Kristie “Chulupa” of N.J.; aunts and uncles include Uncle Al “Pops” and Aunt Debbie of Little Falls, N.J., Leonard Rozell and his fiancé Brenda Rabideau of Plattsburgh, Andrew and Tammy Pier of Oxford, Billy and Tweet Pier of Sidney, Corrine and Richie Pier of Paterson and Aunt Tracy and Kevin of Morrisonville; mother-in-law, Connie Borden and her husband Timothy of Morrisonville; cousins include Katie, Leonard, Kristy “Krissy,” Kevin “Cheeks” and his wife, Kylie, Ashley and her finance’, Steven, and Chelsy of Plattsburgh, Andy “Dewey,” Krissy and Stephanie of Oxford, Little Billy and Brian of Sidney, Little Richie “Buddy,” his wife, Tonya, and his children, Dana and little, little Richie, Tiffany, Ashley and her son, Cameron of Paterson and Robbie of Morrisonville.
Victor was an avid dancer and a true family man. He loved many and was loved by many, touching the lives of everyone he met. He loved to have a good time with friends and was a true athlete – by the time he finished school, lil Vic had reached the state level in wrestling; he also enjoyed playing football, basketball, baseball, fishing and camping, hunting and spending as much time as he could with his brothers and sisters.
Victor may have been young, but he lived a life full of love and happiness, staying close to his family and friends. Everyone knew when he was around, sometimes loud and obnoxious, but he had a kind, caring and considerate heart for all who knew him. Victor will be greatly missed, and he is loved by all.
Victor was predeceased by his mother, Dawn Keller of Patterson, N.J.; grandmother Ethel “Nana” and Aunt Emily Pier.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the United Church of Oxford, 25 Main St., Oxford. The Rev. Allan Lang will officiate.
