NORWICH – Louis C. Caruso, 80, of Peacock Manor, Norwich passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Born in Cadosia, he was the owner and operator of Mr. Louis Men’s Hairstylist, the 1st appointment men’s stylist salon. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a member of the American Legion. Louis was the caretaker of the Historical Museum and also was the evening caretaker at Peacock Manor Senior Living Apartments, both in Norwich.
He is predeceased by his wife of 28 years, Helen (Sutton) Caruso and his parents; Anthony and Julia Caruso.
He is survived by four sons; Martin, Daniel, Andrew and Tom Caruso, three daughters; Deborah Turiano, Julie Anne Caruso and Charlene Barrows, brother; Salvatore Caruso, sister; Theresa Gorden, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends at Peacock Manor.
Services will be Monday, June 22 at 10 a.m. at Peacock Manor Senior Living Apartments, 13 Brown Street, Norwich.
