EDMESTON – Rocky Pirrone, 62, of Edmeston, died Saturday, June 27th at Milstein Hospital Columbia Presbyterian in New York City.
He was born Oct. 18, 1946 I Brooklyn, the son of Joseph and Frances (Ronello) Pirrone. He married Patricia Hill on Aug. 16, 1997.
Rocky is survived by his wife Pat; his daughter Elica Pirrone; his brothers Anthony Pirrone & wife Joan, John Pirrone & wife Nancy; his niece and nephew Allison and Joseph; and several cousins and their families.
Rocky received his degree in Mechanical Engineering, and applied that knowledge with many of his life endeavors. During one period of time he maintained luxury boats in Spain and the Caribbean. As an adventurous traveler he headed off to the Orient, South American, and many of the states in America.
He enjoyed his motorcycle; the many different mediums of fine art; and was an avid reader. To many, Rocky will be remembered as a wonderful storyteller whose door was always open. He provided the atmosphere of “Come on In.”
On Friday, afternoon or evening, all are invited to share a memory, a thought or emotion at Rocky’s and Pat’s home at 17 South Street, Edmeston.
