Russell B. Frew, 59, of Norwich and formerly of Sherburne, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Russell was born in Oneonta on May 21, 1954 the son of James and Virginia Nachen Frew. He spent the early years of his life in the Oneonta and Morris area and was a 1973 graduate of the Sherburne High School. While in the Sherburne and Norwich areas he had been employed by the Ballie Lumber Co.
Russell is survived by his son Alexander Frew of West Winfield, Sabrina Wagoner of Hilton, NY, his sister Carolyn Smith and husband John of Ft. Myers, F along with several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Russell’s life will be held in the summer of 2014.
