Andrew A. Pickerd, 53, of the Town of Columbus, NY passed away on November 23, 2013 in Providence, RI.
He was born on October 13, 1960 in Cortland, NY the son of Raiford & Janet (Truman) Pickerd. His childhood was spent in the Newport and Smyrna NY. He attended West Canada Valley Central School and was a 1980 graduate of Sherburne High School.
Andrew was a crew chief and heavy equipment operator for Paragon Environmental Construction LLC.
On February 8, 1986 he married Barbara Anderson who survives him.
He is also survived by his parents and one daughter, Megan Pickerd of Columbus, NY, one brother, Todd Pickerd of Newport, NY; his brothers in law; Wayne and Cindy Anderson, Don & Heather Anderson, Ron and Sue Anderson and Robert and Theresa Anderson as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY.
