Charles J. Salerno, 70, of Norwich, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY where he lived before moving to Norwich, NY in 1987.
Charles retired as an adjuster for New York Central Mutual Insurance Co, Inc. in Sherburne, NY after 18 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marianne La Rosa Salerno; his children – son Christopher and wife Julie of Norwich, NY, daughter Madeline Salerno DiLeo and husband, John, Red Bank, NJ, and daughter Marlo Salerno Bovo and husband, Brian, Old Bridge, NJ as well as five grandchildren; Vanessa, Francesca, Constantine, Gianna Lilli and Nicky.
A private service was held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
