RICHARD E. MOLLENKOPF
SHERBURNE – Richard E. Mollenkopf, 48, of South Main St., passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his home.
He was born April 26, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY, and was adopted as in infant by Connie and Eugene Mollenkopf. He received his education in North Shore Central Schools on Long Island until the age of 16 and moved to Sherburne when his father retired. Richard was a truck driver for Van Santis Development of Liverpool. On December 7, 2013, Richard married Rose M. Jones in Lebanon.
He was a member of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne; and the Sons of the American Legion in Oxford.
Surviving are his wife, Rose; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Also surviving is his canine buddy, BoBo who meant the world to him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m., January 7, 2014 from St. Malachy’s Church, Sherburne.
Interment in St. Malachy’s Cemetery will be made in the spring.
