PATRICIA A. BALLIN
Patricia A. Ballin, 83 of Oxford passed away on January 7, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY. She was born on June 11, 1930 in Great Neck, NY a daughter of the late Walter and Marion (Chobot) Andres. In 1949 in Great Neck, NY she married William H. Ballin, Sr., who passed away on March 7, 2013.
She is survived by her children, Linda and Terry Finch of Oxford and Eileen and Dan Pearson of West Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Jason and Holly Finch, Keith Finch and Kelli, William H. Ballin III and Rachel, Justin Ballin, Sean Pearson and Becky, and Kara Pearson; her great grandchildren, Jillian Finch, Jocelyn Finch, Liam Ballin, Finlee Ballin, Bryn Ballin, Alexis and Kilian Rupard. Several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Anna Kennedy also survive.
Pat loved her horses and dogs, but her family was most important to her. She enjoyed shopping, bowling and puzzles. She was a member of Fort Hill Post #376, American Legion Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Bove officiating. Burial will be in the spring at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Oxford.
