MINA KNAPP
NORWICH – Mina Knapp, 86, most recently of Norwich, passed away Thurs., Jan. 23, 2014, in the Valley View Manor Nursing Home.
A daughter of Frank Knapp and Leona Marvin Knapp Hollis, Mina was born in New Berlin in Aug. of 1927 and spent most of her years there. For a time, she resided in Rome, and then relocated to Norwich, where she worked for the CWS.
Mina is survived by her sisters and brothers: Jean Mayne of Norwich, Frances Ohl of Oxford, and Olive of Sidney; Robert Knapp and wife Eleanor of Sherburne, and Clarence Knapp and wife Mary, also of Sherburne. Nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews also survive. Mina was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Knapp, and her brother, James Knapp.
Graveside services for Mina will be held in the spring from the Mt. Hope Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home.
