Judith “Judy” Norris Oberle, age 68, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at her residence after a long illness.
Judy was born August 27, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Irene Parkin Norris and Bernard Norris. She was a graduate of Redford High School and Elgin College in Elgin, IL where she earned her RN degree.
She worked locally for Dr. Burke, Dersch and McIltrot as an RN and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Edwin “Ed” Francis Oberle whom she married October 16, 1965; sons Michael Oberle (Crystal) of Concord and Paul Oberle (Julie) of Charlotte; brothers Bernard Norris of Belleville, MI, Barry Norris of Charleston, SC and Bob Norris of Atlantic City, NJ; grandchildren Zackary, Charlie and Allison Oberle and beloved dog Mindy.
Prayer Service: 6:00 PM Friday, April 11, at Summersett Memorial Chapel with visitation following until 8:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 AM Saturday, April 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
