Norman J. Fuller, Jr., 73, of Tracy Road, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Bassett Healthcare, in Cooperstown.
He was born September 21, 1940 in Springfield, NY, the son of Norman J. Fuller, Sr. and Hannah Crandall Fuller. On December 20, 1971 he married Barbara Barriger in Madison, NY. She predeceased him on June 22, 2001. Norman was a farmer for most of his life and ran the family farm, a life’s work that was very important to him. At one time Norman worked for the Community Workshop in Norwich. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Norman was a loving father and grandfather who considered his family his first priority. He was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are his two daughters, Barbara (Norman) Hebert of Norwich, NY and Pattie Fuller of Sherburne, NY and her fiancé Dorian Browne; one son, Norman Fuller of Norwich, NY and his companion Stacey Cox; three brothers, Leroy (Joyce) of Ohio, NY; Merle (Cindy) of Dunn, North Carolina and Richard (Lillian) of Sherburne, NY, 10 grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home at 10 South Main Street, Sherburne, NY. Friends are invited to call at 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Earlville Cemetery.
