ARLENE B. CUMMINGS
Arlene B. Cummings, 73, of Oxford, passed away at home on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Justin Bryce; brother, Burton Brigham and by her parents, Elizabeth and Floyd Brigham. She is survived by her husband Carl, her beloved dog Ace; son, Mark Cummings and Nicole Shaver; Dean and Mary Cummings; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Chuck Bryce; grandchildren, Scott and Jennifer Cummings, Mike Seibert and Nichole Trask, Eric Bryce and Kaitlin Bryce; great grandchildren, Meeya and Damion; step grandchildren, Lisa and Joe Winton, Ray and Holly Bryce; step great-grandchildren, Emily, Jillian, Samantha and Brook; two sisters, Margaret Carey and Dorothy Meloche; brother, John Brigham; sister-in-law, Betty Root and family; two brothers-in-law, Claude and Clifford Cummings and their families.
Arlene retired from N.Y. State Veterans' Home, Oxford after thirty years of service. She also worked on the family farm after marrying Carl for nearly fifty five years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Root Funeral Home.
